Today I'm sharing some of my spring/summer fashion finds from online shopping stores. I'm always fascinated with trends and I always try to keep up with them. If you're like me, or if you just like a reminder, here a few trends worth keeping in mind as you plan your spring and summer 2017 crafting.
Flowers for spring, it's not really my thing but I found a way how florals can be kept the more low key and I found different versions of styling them that keep it interesting and fresh. It doesn’t always have to be a statement but works lovely as a neutral piece with a small print and subtle colors. To keep the color scale light, pair it with a same colored jacket. And I would break it off with some edgy touches of black and leather.
Tees with texts are my favorites! I love the modern version of it that feels fresh, trendy and mature and their perfect wearable with denim. Style tip? Focus on the color scale of your 'chatty tee' and build your outfit around it.
The corsets are back
It's proved that corsets can go over everything! The corseted style looks best when layered over long sleeve blouses, fitted tees or bodysuits. If a corset is simply out of your comfort zone, take a more conservative interpretation of this trend with a structured strapless or a bustier top. Best of all, you can ditch the layers and wear those strapless pieces on their own once the summer rolls around!
Stripes with attitude
Stripes are always trending and in different versions of it! This retro pattern that also gives a modern take on the style, is becoming highly versatile for all season's. When you mix stripes into your everyday wardrobe, you are able to introduce the trend without feeling overwhelmed.
The hottest color this spring just happens to be my personal favorite: pink! Pink is power and an easier way of life! Embrace your feminine and romantic side this season with light as air chiffon dresses and flirty ruffled tops. Dusty pink accessories with bleached out denim.
Khaki is the new black, it's creeping up everywhere and I'm actually surpriced! It has taken on a new, modern look! Khaki has dominated the runway as the season's newest trend! From a high-waisted silhouette to a classic fit to a loose military jacket - I'm happy that this has made a come back!
And it was all Yellow
Yellow has never been my go-to color, there's not much yellow in my closet and it's not a color that fits everyone. But this season hit something inside me and I suddenly needed some yellow in my life! It's one of the trendy colors for this spring and the stores are full of it in all shades. I especially go for mustard (yellow darker shade) in a statement coat or accessories to add that extra pop of color to the outfit.
Shoulder off and cutout
The trend I'm absolutely obsessing over is the off-shoulder. Shoulders are so beautiful, classy and sexy. I also love that this trend can be worn dressy and casual. You will find it in dresses and tops in this style but with so many variations and every color imaginable!
